Get your week off to a sweet start! Beginning this coming Monday, February 6th, we will be serving up fresh Spudnut donuts for our members on the first Monday morning of every month.

Before diving into your workload for the week, take this opportunity to gather ’round the sugary, fried goodness (but it’s potato!) and make a new coworking friend.

We’ve had a lot of new member sign ups lately, and here’s your chance to meet all the new faces! There are so many great people at OpenSpace working on such a diverse range of projects, the collaborative potential is endless! But don’t just take our word for it. First Mondays is your chance to get to know the people who work around you every day. It’s a moment in our busy lives to build up the community-feel that makes coworking so great… while also indulging in a little sugar to get you going!

OpenSpace is back from holiday! We are open today and all the rest of this week for our normal business hours.

If you’ve still got house guests or need to escape the temptations of too much good food, stop on by to see us and get a little work done!

The OpenSpace Christmas party is tomorrow!

Starting at 2pm in the Conference Studio, we’ll be serving up hot apple cider and assorted Christmas goodies while showing a selection of classic holiday movies.

A Charlie Brown Christmas will start things off at 2pm
Elf, starring Will Farrell, will go on at 2:30pm
Miracle on 34th Street (the original with young Natalie Wood!) will conclude the evening and will begin at 4:00pm

Join us for a little Christmas cheer, and feel free to bring family and friends!

OpenSpace will be closed on Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday. We will be open during normal business hours the week of New Year’s.

But as always, Unlimited Members with 24×7 Access are free to work whenever they’d like.

Members can view existing reservations and see available times for their favorite work studio before requesting a room reservation. Use the link below to access the calendars:

A public service announcement: do any of these jackets or coats look familiar? We’re starting to get quite a collection here at the Hello bar! December starts on Thursday- don’t get left out in the cold! If you recognize one of these coats, just ask any one of the concierge staff and we’d be happy to return them to their owners.

As a reminder, OpenSpace will be closed tomorrow and Friday for Thanksgiving.

This holiday season, OpenSpace will sponsor a food drive to support the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Between November 28th and December 12th, bring in canned or non-perishable food items to help those in need in our community.

Start collecting now- bring in three cans or more and receive a Free Day Pass- useful for client meetings or to re-gift to a friend! Be sure to listen for our spot on 106.1 The Corner and help us help contribute to needy families this holiday season. Everyone, members and friends alike, are welcomed and encouraged to participate!
