OpenSpace is turning 2!

Wow- it’s hard to believe it’s been two years since OpenSpace started revolutionizing how people in Charlottesville work. We’ve come so far, and it’s incredible how fast time flies! And you know what that means- time to celebrate!

Your requests have been heard! Decaf coffee is back! All the warmth and goodness of coffee, without the jitters, just in time for colder weather.

A big thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic response to Clean Fridge Fridays! The refrigerator looks so sparkly and good-as-new! Thanks for your help in keeping OpenSpace bright and clean. Y’all rock.

The end of August marks the first full month of our new business hours. After doing a little research, we realized very few Occasional members were utilizing the space after 6pm. And with the introduction of 24×7 access for Unlimited Members, we decided it was time to change our hours: we are now open 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Thanks everyone for helping to make it a smooth transition!

We didn’t want it to come to this, but it has. To keep up the clean, sleek & sparkling OpenSpace image, we’re instituting “Clean Fridge Fridays.” That means that if you have anything (lunch boxes, dishes, cartons of milk, moldy items, etc.) in the fridge come Friday, it will be disposed of unless claimed prior to closing. Kristy has a tendency to “lose it” when she sees the refrigerator in disarray, so we want to prevent any “mishaps.” We’ll keep her out during the week, but she’ll have free reign to dig in on Friday evenings … beware!

Tonight’s your last chance to hang out at OpenSpace with Joseph until 8pm- starting on Monday, August 1st, our hours will switch to 8am-6pm.

Did you know that you can request OpenSpace Amenities, such as a locker or a parking space and now 24×7 Access!, all with the click of a mouse? Log into your account and click the Amenities tab at the top right.

With the new time change, Unlimited Members can have 24×7 Access to OpenSpace, whether you’re working late or at 6am, it’s no additional charge (this doesn’t apply to Team or Occasional Plans. If you are on a Team or Occasional Plan and are interested, please see us at the Hello! Bar).

If you are an Unlimited Member, just request 24×7 ACCESS under the “Amenities” tab when you login to your account online. For those of you who already have requested the 24×7 amenity, we will be hand-delivering your fob along with the link to the 24×7 Guidelines (http://getopenspace.com/rule-book/). Basically, we just want to remind you to “play nice.”

Just a friendly reminder, this is the last week of our old business hours! Starting next Monday, August 1st, our new hours will be 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
